Home Care services are designed to help an individual maintain their independence at home and maximize their health and well being by providing supportive non-medical services. Home care promotes healing and can often be a flexible cost-effective alternative to assisted living, long-term residential or nursing home care.

What is the cost of the in-home assessment by a registered nurse?
There is no charge for the in-home assessment. An in-home assessment is provided to understand your home care needs and is used to develop a plan of care to meet your needs and wishes. To arrange for an in-home assessment, please contact us at 207-563-3038.
When will I meet my caregiver?
After the in-home assessment is completed by the registered nurse, a meeting will take place to develop the care plan and review the client’s needs and expectations with the client, family members and caregivers. This provides an opportunity for the client to determine if the caregiver is a “match” to meet his/her needs.
Does the client pay the caregiver?
One2One Care will pay the caregiver. One2One Care will administer the payroll, withhold appropriate employee taxes, and provide for workman’s compensation. One2One Care prepares a bill and sends to the client.
Who does the scheduling for caregivers to come to my home?
One2One Care is responsible for scheduling caregivers.
Do you take clients who may have Maine Care?
We currently accept private pay only, however, some of our services may be reimbursed through insurance. If you have long term care insurance, you may want to check the policy as some policies will pay a certain amount per day for private duty home care services
How long has One2One Care been operating as a business?
We have been in business as a personal care agency since 2006.
Are your services available only to elder citizens?
We provide services for people of all ages in Lincoln County. In addition to providing services for elder citizens, we will provide services for anyone who may be recovering from a recent illness, injury, and surgery or is disabled or chronically ill. We are available to provide supportive non-medical care for individuals after hospital discharge.
What if I am a summer visitor and need home care for a loved one?
We will provide services for the time you are visiting in Lincoln County.
